Constant need to login

Since yesterday I’m constantly needing to login on PV Output (not the forum), this is across multiple devices, and even on computers where I don’t normally login, where I’ve just got a link saved, which I just click (I’ve clicked for years), and now it asks me to login, click back, click the link again and it displays. On systems I’ve been logged in, it doesn’t normally ask me to login again, but now I’m having to login multiple times, and yes I am clicking remember me.

I’m not the only one thats noticed this behaviour either.

Have you any info on the above please, 6 days and no replies on a very annoying problem.

I’m not the only one having this problem, either, I’m surprised no one else has mentioned it here.

Same here, if I have not vistied in more than an hour I have to login again, “remember me” does not work

It seems like going to just the home page will take you to wherever you last were without logging in… Use the direct link to my system and, bang, login required.

Strange that thread you linked to was started last August, it’s only very recently I’ve experienced the issue.

Using just the home page URL is a pain, I have bookmarks to what I want to view, or a browser page open on multiple different devices, not all I log into.

I’m disappointed that there is no official response, every one thats posted in this thread is a donator as well, and I donate to very few things.

Has something changed with the PVOutput website around credentials. In the last week or so I now have to log in every time I go to the site and this happens with two different PCs from different locations - my home and office. It used to retain credentials for a long time and I rarely had to login. Is this something at my end or did the website change?

The need to log is due to the malicious bot activity on pvoutput.org in an attempt to drain server resources.
