Website login and API issues - PvOutput EOL?

I have no idea what is going on at PvOutput.org, but for some reason nobody of the staff takes the time to read here of fix any issues. We are dealing with login issues for weeks now and also the API is unstable, my iOS app does not receive monthlty and yearly totals most of the time.

Is PvOutput EOL? Are we going down? Is this what I am paying for for 10+ years? Come on. At least take us serious!!!

What sort of login and API issues are you having? Best to provide additional details.

API calls give back incorrect information for weekly, monthly and yearly totals. Looks like they are only updated once a day or less. Website is correct.

But when do you expect somebody from PvOutput to have a look at the long going issues with logins?

Which API endpoint is incorrect? Please provide the URL.

If you mean you are now required to login to view certain pages then this has been discussed on the following thread - https://forum.pvoutput.org/t/constant-need-to-login/8647/13

Logging is required to protect the website from increased malicious bot activity attempting to drain server resources.

I have no idea which API’s, I am using PvOutput Pro on the iOS which is having the issues. I only know the app does API calls.

Who thought this would be a good solution to deny access for bots? Add a Captcha or put everything behind CloudFlare is way better?

BB regarding login, the web site no longer stays logged in. Everytime one uses it it requires us to login again. Is that a change your enforcing to freeup resources since ya dont want to maintain 50k or whatever sources logged in continuously? If so maybe publish a change notice so that people understand thats the new policy. I see it now too for at least several weeks going into months suddenly. API I dont really use other than typical pull data from Enphase site so no issues there for me.

Pvputput doesn’t have an official IOS App; maybe you should take up your issue with the developer of that third party app.

I haven’t logged in for weeks, yes I suffered with the constant logins, but what I found was hit the refresh button to refresh the page I was on, when the login page is shown hit the back button, and I’m now still logged in, although I may need to click a link to get back to where I wanted to be.

And that is really a shame, that there is no official app.

This app worked for more than 5 years and nothing has changed. The app uses API calls to get it’s information and the monthly and yearly totals are only updated once a day now. This was not the case in the past, it was always up to date. So the API has changed, that is for sure.

I am use PVOutputPro on my iPad and it is till working fine using the latest beta iOS.
