Repeated Daily Login Required on PVOutput

Dear PVOutput Team,

I would like to report a small issue I have been experiencing over the past few weeks.

Recently, the PVOutput website has been requiring me to log in again every day. Previously, my session would remain active for a much longer period, but now I am frequently prompted to authenticate again.

This happens consistently:

  • On Firefox on my desktop PC
  • On Chrome on my Android phone

I have not changed any browser settings, and cookies are enabled on both devices. I have also tried selecting the “Remember me” option during login, but it does not seem to make any difference.

It is not a major problem, but it has become somewhat inconvenient, so I wanted to check whether this is an intentional change (e.g. related to security updates) or if there might be a configuration issue affecting my account.

If you keep a tab open for PV Output, when you refresh and it asks you to login, just click the back button, and you’ll be logged in.

Thank you for your responses.

However, until a few weeks ago, keeping a PVOutput tab open did not cause any issues with staying logged in. This new behavior is definitely a downgrade compared to my previous experience with PVOutput.

Also, before posting my request, I wasn’t able to find the two previous threads you mentioned. Could you please share the links? I would be happy to read them to try to resolve this annoying issue.
