Hi,
I’m seeing four zeroes in today’s live data. There were a few yesterday also.
The graph on engage shows no zero readings on either day.
Ideas??
Thanks.
Can’t wait until the replacement Smappee arrives, but with Christmas next week, I won’t hold my breath!
The system contains the following rule which will report 0W when Efergy reports under 80W
if (out && power < 80) power=0;
Hi BB,
Yes, BUT the system has reported 70 or 71W since 2020 yesterday. Now 0500 and still registering 71W, so I think the ‘rule’ is not working.
It did show as working on the ‘test’, but is obviously not doing so in operation.
It was cloudy yesterday, and maybe the output dropped below 80W, but there was no rule there on Thursday, and it still showed three zeroes after the Efergy was started.
Another quick question. It is showing just mow 0510 on the computer clock, and the 0510 reading from the Efergy is already showing. With the Smappee it seems to register ten minutes behind, IE that 0510 reading would not show up until 0520. Is that just a function of the Smappee ‘system’?
Thanks, DH.
Hi BB,
Looks like the Smappee mob have done some sort of Firmware Fiddle, and the figures look reasonable, so I will change back to the Smappee.
Maybe I’ll toss the Efergy this time. I changed to the Smappee back in December 2015 because the Efergy was so inaccurate.
Sorry to take up your time,
DH.
I have a system using an efergy that has a solar generation of 30-40W per reading overnight, I have this rule in place which tests ok, but it doesn’t zero the generated value, what am I missing thanks
Which system? Please provide a link.
Thanks for reporting this, this wasn’t triggering since the direction was consumption.
This should now work with an opposite secondary power setting.
Yep looks like it’s now kicked in, good stuff thank you
I’m also getting spurious zeroes in both the solar and consumption, seems worse today
Looks ok on the efergy energy platform.

Seems to have resolved itself zero values have data now
The 24hr power history should be downloaded every 2 hrs to fill in any missing gaps from Efergy
