Hi there. Trying to set up temperature and solar radiation upload from WU, I have read a number of posts, but am stuck on one detail. My weather station shows up fine on WU. I am unsure if where PVoutput settings ask for the station API key it is the station identifier key that is used by WU to link to my weather station, or do I need to join WU as a developer and get a separate API to push the data from their server (I suspect the latter). I could not find any help on this in the forum or help documentation.

Hmm, that is indeed where I started . So entered my station ID (IDOONANT3) and the 8 digit station key from the “my PWS” page of my station. I have directed temp and solar radiation to extended parameters V8 and V7 respectively. No data uploads and these settings have been active for over a week. This prompted me to think I was missing something.

The key entered is not correct. It is usually 16 characters in length.

After logging into the above, click Key Settings.
The key appears in the red boxes shown below. Click on Create a New Key to generate a new one.

I just needed to sign up to their developer option in addition to having a WU account. That gave me the 16 digit key as you said, and all now works well. Thanks for the rapid replies.
