I’ve been using a TED 5000 for automatic data uploads for a few years now and I noticed on PVOutput that it stopped displaying Power Generated data on Sept. 22nd, but the Power Used data is still being displayed correctly. I haven’t made any changes for over a year and was wondering if others are having the same issue.
Has the generation MTU changed?
I haven’t made any changes to the TED 5000 system so the generation MTU hasn’t changed. When I access the web page of the TED 5000 itself it shows the generation is working correctly. It’s strange that it suddenly stopped being displayed in PVOutput.
Started to capture some samples from your system and only MTU 102AAF is showing up so far.
Thanks for looking at the data. My Consumption MTU is 102AAF and the Generation MTU is 1072E5. When I log into the local TED 5000 web page it shows data from the Generation MTU, so I don’t know why it wouldn’t be uploading both sets of data.
The generation MTU is showing up, however the watts register is not moving so 0W.
<MTU ID="1072E5" type="1">
<cumulative timestamp="1506838260" watts="-26268995.2944" rate="0.00000"/>
<cumulative timestamp="1506838320" watts="-26268995.5224" rate="0.00000"/>
<cumulative timestamp="1506838380" watts="-26268995.7504" rate="0.00000"/>

<cumulative timestamp="1506838500" watts="-26268996.2067" rate="0.00000"/>
</MTU>
Compared to the consumption MTU -
<MTU ID="102AAF" type="2">
<cumulative timestamp="1506838260" watts="86655973.2048" rate="0.00000"/>
<cumulative timestamp="1506838320" watts="86656006.1801" rate="0.00000"/>
<cumulative timestamp="1506838380" watts="86656039.4277" rate="0.00000"/>
<cumulative timestamp="1506838440" watts="86656072.6753" rate="0.00000"/>
<cumulative timestamp="1506838500" watts="86656106.1744" rate="0.00000"/>
<cumulative timestamp="1506838560" watts="86656139.6735" rate="0.00000"/>
</MTU>
Looks like the data was captured at Sunday, October 1, 2017 2:11:00 AM GMT-04:00 DST. Not much sun at that time. If you are in Australia, then the time difference is about 15 hours now (Sidney) to my system.
World it be possible to look at the data during your evening (my morning)?
Thanks!
Never mind. Today instead of just rebooting the TED 5000, I tried power cycling it… Now generation data is showing up in PVOutput.
Thanks for your help in figuring out this issue. I’m not sure why power cycling worked.
Good to hear - it probably got stuck in an error state that wouldn’t reset until a reboot.
