SolarEdge and Eagle - SolarEdge Data Missing after 24 Hours

I’ve had pvoutput tracking my Solaredge and BC Hydro smartmeter (with an old Eagle) for at least a decade. IIRC, I had to change my Eagle to directly upload to pvoutput some time ago when the cloud server Eagle was running was abandoned for their newer Eagle products. That has been working fine.

However, a couple of months ago I noticed that the Solaredge data was missing. I futzed around found some information about Solaredge limiting the number of requests in a 24 hour period, so I changed that parameter to cause pvoutput to look for data every 15 minutes. It had always been every five minutes, since that was the time pattern Eagle had set. That seemed to work. Data started flowing again.

The next time I checked, a few days later, it was again down. The solution seems to be to simply save the configuration without changes…but that only lasts for 24 hours. And pretty close to 24 hours exactly. The Internet knowledge is now telling me it’s an issue with pvoutput not getting responses and stopping the polling after a period of time. But that doesn’t really fit, IMHO.

Any ideas what is causing this problem? And better yet, how to fix it? Ideally, with the old 5 minute data intervals?

Thanks,

Brock
