I have bought a Growatt SPF 3000TL HVM-24 to my 24V battery system. According to the specification the max open voltage is 104V for the PV.
I would like to connect solar panels and utilize the voltage as much as possible. Is it wise to for example connect 3 panels in series so a get like 103.9V in open circuit voltage or should I add a margin?
It would be really nice to have 3 in series instead of just two and I guess that as soon as a small current is drawn the voltage drops. Maybe add a zener diode to protect?
