Why is my solar production on a daily basis in the tesla mobile app and the one uploaded to PVOutput is different. Does the integration service used the same database as the tesla mobile app. The difference is between 1 to 5 kwh per day.
Each step in the chain involves some amount of loss. Especially if there is conversion of DC to AC or vice versa. So from inverter to Tesla Powerwall there will be a small amount of loss, with the Tesla Gateway reporting a slightly lower level of generation because that is its view. The inverter has a view direct from the panels and doesn’t account for its own overhead in passing that along to the next device after it’s been ‘inverted’.
