SMA Webbox output glitches on generation data graph

The last couple of days I have seen dropouts or glitches in the generation graph for my SMA inverters. They have shown no actual dropouts in generation and the FTP uploads have gone through without errors as scheduled. The past couple of days have been cloudless and my SMA Webbox graphs show a nice continuous bell curve for generation. Any idea of what the cause could be?

2017-05-02 looks fine - the upload is successful then the data might be missing those timestamps.

Yes, must have just been a fluke for the several days I saw the issue. The last couple of days have graphed correctly.

I am missing several hours of generation today with multiple gaps. All my FTP uploads were successful. Is there a way to check for missing timestamps before the FTP upload is sent?

I am again missing almost the entire days worth of generation again today. The Webbox says all the FTP uploads were successful. What can I do to troubleshoot why the data isn’t getting to PVOutput.org intact?

There are times where the webbox would upload a zip file that did not contain any generation data. Check that webbox zip files and if they contain any valid data.

Thanks for the reply and information about the FTP upload I am sending. I wasn’t aware it was a zip file. I am trying to get in contact with SMA USA tech support for help on the issues my webbox seems to be having.

Is there a way you could send me one of the bad zip files from the days I had gaps in the generation data, along with a zip file with good data in it? I was just on the phone with SMA for a couple of hours and they couldn’t find anything wrong with the webbox. They asked if I could email them the zip files so they can examine what my box is sending you.

It does not contain any valid power readings so it is ignored.
