I have a Sharp JH1600E inverter which used to work with PVoutput until March 2016. I think it broke around the same time that Yahoo weather changed their connection method. Has anyone had success in modifying the configuration to allow sharpmon to operate without the Yahoo component
To those who have a JH-1600E and have issues using the sharpmon uploader which broke in March 2016, here’s the fix thanks to Ryan and RedSky for their contribution
Testing has been going well for me, no problems for more than a week now.

Stop the Sharp Monitor service
Download it open the zip and extract it to your existing Sharp Monitor Bin directory.
Start the Sharp Monitor service. It should now be working

For other SharpMonitor users new to this thread:
You also have to change your weather URL in your SharpMonitor.exe.config file as below (also update your location ID as appropriate e.g 1099805)
Change this line:
https://www.yahoo.com/news/weather/country/state/city-1099805
To:
http://query.yahooapis.com/v1/public/yql?q=select+*+from+weather.forecast+where+woeid%3D1099805
I had some issues with the new yahooapis.com site where my system wasn’t resetting. I changed from http to https which appears to have settled things down but don’t know if it was related or not
