Has anybody managed to succesfully use a Raspberry Pi as an alternative to a PC to read an RS232 port and submit the data
It might be a bit late but I just spent the last 2 days setting that up!

I am running an upload to PVOutput using a 16 year old laptop that is on death row at the present time then grabbing the http through Node Red to publish in Home Assistant. Bit of a long way round, but it does work
