As Reported on Whirlpool, PVO is not handling Power Outages logically which is resulting in Extreme Power usage recorded for days with these events.
I’ve had 2 significant power outages in the last 3 months resulting in crazy amounts of power being recorded when no power was available to be used.
On the 27th of March we had a ~5 hour outage and according to PVO we used 16 kWh’s with no power to the house:

and on the 4th of May we had a ~10 hour outage and according to PVO we used 62 kWh’s with no power to the house:

BB has explained that power use reported immediately after an outage (in the above 2 examples 3,713W & 6,416W) is applied across all points between the times missing data.
I’m a huge fan of your work BB and have been a paid supporter for years, but I cant comprehend why PVO would operate like this as it leads to wildly inaccurate results whenever someone has a power outage (like below).
Wouldn’t a better solution be to not make up data where it doesn’t exist?
