Can someone help please? I’ve lost live data unless I’m directly connected by Bluetooth to my inverter… It suddenly lost the live data a few months ago on pv output.org and I can’t work out why. Please see screenshot if that helps. Nothing seems to have changed in the settings and the uploads are apparently working as I have other data but it’s just live that’s missing.
The last upload was on 22nd Oct 2025. Best to check the device uploading SMA data, or give it a reset etc
Hi and thanks for your reply… What seems to happen is if I go into the device and try to reset it will update once and then stop again… It seems to have been when the support stopped for PV output so I don’t know if it’s to do with the credentials but they seem fine and I’m logged in so I just can’t work out why it uploads once then stops again.
So that upload you can see is when I last tried to reset.
As long as the PVOutput sid and apikey is correct there shouldn’t be any reason why only the first update works - its definately not a limitation or error on the PVOutput side, there should be a log error message on the SMA uploader on why it stops after the first attempt.
Where would I find the log error message please? Also, this is an older system where I don’t think the sma uploads it. As I understand it the tablet connects to the inverter via Bluetooth, gets the data then uploads it.
Sounds like an app installed on the tablet that is performing the uploads, if you know the name of that app, then maybe someone here with a similar setup can help.
