This is the last month of the 9th year of operation of my system. System ID is 305963. It has operated continually for that period but was disconnected form the monitoring site of a period during October of the 8th year.
You have very consistent output. Mine is a bit more variable - my best year was 12.9 in 2016 but then it dipped to 11.1 in 2018. Snow cover can make a difference for me in the winter, but the production is so low in those months that it isn’t a huge deal in the annual numbers.
I selected the components I wanted when I designed my system. I worked with the system manager of the company I bought the system from. I selected the panels and he recommended the SolarEdge inverter-optimizer system. I told him which mounting system I wanted and designed the layout for my roof. The electrician I hired got the city approvals and resized my power panel. I am very pleased with how the system has performed. I have not paid an electric bill in nine years. However, the electric company has whittled away my advantage and last year I had to pay about $150 because they got the PUC to allow them to force power deliver charges which now cannot be paid with excess production credits. Pretty soon we will have to be paying the electric for producing free power for them.
