Is this tariff possible?

Hello everyone!

I’ve been looking at the various discussions to see if this is possible to setup in PVO, but I can’t seem to be able to find out. So here goes.

My energy company caps buyback each month to not exceed the amount consumed. For example, if I generate 900 kWh but only consume 500 kWh in a given month, they will only give me credit for 500 kWh of generation. The “excess” 400 kWh of generation is essentially given away for free, because I get no credit for it, and it does not roll over to the next month.

Is there a way for me to setup this arrangement up in PVO? Thank you so much!

Anything that requires tracking running total (monthly, billing cycle etc) as a condition for tariff logic isn’t supported. Since the balance is calculated on each 5-minute update it isn’t practical to perform these calculations for so many systems.

If such a feature is supported in the future, it would have to be a manual button push or background update that is performed once a month for example.
