Hi the problem i have is because of the way the electrician has wired everything up its impossible to read exactly my consumption. The best i can do is meter how much solar is being produced and measure the watts either going to or from the grid. What i was hoping to do was create a rule where if the grid power is greater than the solar produced then consumption is the grid power else if the solar is greater than grid power the difference is consumption. but i couldn’t create a rule so i figured i would create a rule that consumption was grid power minus solar (which i know is wrong when using more power than solar producing but better than nothing) and if it was negative then make it positive. but it doesn’t allow negative values.
So is the best i can do is record how much power im using that is more than solar is producing. or is there a better way without paying an electrician to re-wire the power box or paying more money (solar production wire in 3 phase system has been set by electrician so there is no way to only measure consumption).
Example of the data im working with http://www.energyhive.com/dashboard/BrettSolar
And the current way im trying to deal with it (Not very good). https://pvoutput.org/intraday.jsp?id=58990&sid=53328
