Enphase - PVOutput 1 hour stairstep past 3 days. Consumption normal

The past 3 days, I’m getting large 1 hour stair steps on generation: BrambleB 23.895kW

This started on: BrambleB 23.895kW mid-day.

My data normally looks fine like this: BrambleB 23.895kW and has been working fine for many years. I’m not sure what happened?!? Consumption still seems to be normal.

Logging into Enphase, and everything looks 100% normal. Nothing has changed with my Enphase configs, nor pvoutput. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Check out my post ZSolarPowerwall2. After trying different things, I called Enphase and spoke support. I explained my issue and the support technican performed a reset of the frequency to every 5 minutes. Within about 2 hours my data was back to normal.

I saw that, but didn’t understand where the power -1 stuff was. I double checked everything in enlighten, and pvoutput looking for something similar to adjust. I’ll give them a call on Monday, as I certainly don’t see any polling options that have changed on my side.

The power -1 did not work for me. It was all about Enphase.

You were right. It was an automatic update to the Envoy on 12/5 that cause the issue:

  • 3:36 PM*
  • So I have reviewed the screenshot shared by you and it seems the data provided below the graph does show the data for 5 minutes. *
  • However, let me check this further.*
  • 3:37 PM*
  • Looks like the PCU polling settings on the gateway was changed to automatic. I have changed it to 300 secs now.*
  • 3:40 PM*
  • ohhh nice thank you!*

That’s great news! Glad I could help.

Mine also has the stair step pattern. So I have to contact Enphase to fix it?

Yes, contact Enphase support and ask them to reset the interval for consumption data to every 5 minutes. That’s the solution.

@billz Thanks! Took Enphase a few days to fix it, but now things are back to normal.
