Do I need a second device?

Hi guys,

I’m new in PV subjects and I need your help.
Here is my problem.

I have an Efergy Engage Hub with two sensors. Sensor 1 is connected to the grid and Sensor 2 is connected to the inverter.

I’ve setup the auto uploader in PVOutput.

What is difference between setting “Secondary Power” to my Sensor 2 as Opposite or setting a second device?

Yes, it has the same effect as a secondary device.

However, secondary power will probably become a donation only feature in the future due to the additional server resources required.
