I changed energy companies, and I now have a different tariff.
Today I edited these in my system data to reflect that
Question is, does that then apply from today on, keeping al the historic credit / debit data on the original tariffs?

The active tariff applies to all uploaded data. So it won’t change historical data unless you upload data to those dates.
You can however do a refresh on historical data to apply the new tariff to selected days. e.g. my feed in tariff changed last week but I only updated the tariffs today. So I went back to recalculate those days.
