Certain SolarEdge Daily Values Not Updating at All

I noted that as of today while SolarEdge’s app is functioning normally, PVOutput is only recording data in the Temperature, Energy Used and Power Used columns. Is anyone else having this same issue?

My last sync from my SolarEdge systems was processed around 12:15 yesterday. (Amsterdam timezone)
Nothing since, while the Solaredge app and site report the system is working fine and the power consumption from my meter still showing there is some PV activity.

Same problem. SolarEdge system and last update is from yesterday 12:50(Stockholm timezone).
Also noted I was logged out from PVoutput yesterday from no obvious reason.
Tested the SolarEdge api-key from PVoutput site settings menu and I do get a response

I’m experiencing the same issue with my system. I’m located near Milan (Italy). The SolarEdge app works perfectly for all measurements. The API key test was successful. The last update was yesterday at around 12:50.

Having this exact same problem with my solaredge system in Australia. Showing consumption but no generation. Mine was fine yesterday, but broken today. @bankstownbloke is this anything on the PVOutput side?

Exact same as above from my installation in The Netherlands (SolardEdge, no new data in PVOutput since 15 jan 2025 12.20 (Dutch timezone).

In the PV-output settings I tested the API key using the test button there and I got some CSV file downloaded which does look like the API key is working.
So maybe a formatting/API change made on the side of SolarEdge, as nearly all reports here state to have lost data at roughly the same time. With maybe some regional (server) differences, which sounds like a software update on the SolarEdge side.

I lost SolarEdge reporting my generation after January 14th, beginning on January 15th as well. I am in El Dorado California, USA
When the test button for the site API is pressed, I get a small download file called file.csv that opens to an Excel spread sheet with columns for Name, Manufacture, Model, Serial number and that is all.

UPDATE:
I contacted SolarEdge with the problem. Here’s their reply:

Thank you for the patience and the information’s you have shared with us. as we are migrating the monitoring app from version 1 to version 2 it might take few days for the API to work normal.

I asked as follow-up if the data during this migration would be lost to API and the person indicated past data would remain. I take that to mean once API starts working, the data will have been stored and provided. I hope so!

Thanks for sharing this here, I just discovered half an hour ago that I have no data from today and the recording stopped shortly after noon CET yesterday. I hope the API will be working again soon.

@skipro3 Thank you very much for the information you shared. Hopefully, everything will return to working fine in the end

Same issue here in New Jersey, USA.

Been a PVoutput user since late 2019 and never seen this before.

Tried Disable/Enable on the API Access, then tried a new API key altogether, same result.

Last data point shows from 1/15/25 @ 5:05am, but everything on the SolarEdge side seems to be working without issue. Fingers crossed all the dat come though once this is settled. :crossed_fingers:

I came here to the community looking to see if other people were having an issue before I tried resetting the SolarEdge API key. I’m in Massachusetts, US, and have had no data (we only have generation data) pulled into pvoutput since the 14th.

My next step would have been to test the API and then contact SolarEdge. Thank you @skipro3 for doing so already!

Hopefully SolarEdge gets this migration finished soon.

Since January 15th, I have not received any updates in PVOutput.
But using the SolarEdge API manually I’m able to download data for those dates (jan 15-17) using this command:
https://monitoringapi.solaredge.com/site/{siteid}/power.csv?startTime=2025-01-17%2003:00:00&endTime=2025-01-17%2021:00:00&api_key={APIKEY}

Example of downloaded data from today:

2025-01-17 08:15:00,12.0
2025-01-17 08:30:00,79.0
2025-01-17 08:45:00,378.33334
2025-01-17 09:00:00,706.0
2025-01-17 09:15:00,1097.0
2025-01-17 09:30:00,1568.3334
2025-01-17 09:45:00,2073.6667
2025-01-17 10:00:00,2491.6667
2025-01-17 10:15:00,2109.3333
2025-01-17 10:30:00,3727.3333
2025-01-17 10:45:00,3510.6667

So obviously data is available to download. Why can’t PVOutput get the data? How can we be sure this is not a problem with PVOutput?

Using this method, this is also working for me, so it does indeed look like an issue on the PVOutput side.

Mine is totally dead today. No consumption either. @bankstownbloke any thing you can do on the pvoutput side?
